I have that knife. The guy uses Tupperware containers for the acid etching. Theres a video on how there made. Actual layered Damascus. It came pretty sharp, yet I used my Worksharp sharpening system on it and got a mirror edge. The mechanism has a solid lock, open and closed, no blade play. Scales are rosewood sanded with an oil finish. Things pretty cool, im happy with it in my collection.
